Bassoon Concerto K191 2nd movement Mozart Help Opus Details
For feedback and questions, please contact Victor Gomersall.
Mozart wrote his Bassoon Concerto K191 in 1774 when he was only 20 years old, at the invitation of Baron von Durnitz. He explores and exploits the sonorities of the bassoon, and does so with great elegance. Few other composers before or since have made serious efforts to write music for the bassoon as a solo instrument.
