This English nursery rhyme goes back to the 18th century. My arrangement is for a standard string quartet, but it could equally be sung by a 4 part SATB choir, or played by other appropriate quartets.
Mary Mary, quite contrary
how does your garden grow?
With cockle shells, and little bells,
and pretty maids all in a row.
