Yesterday was written in 1965 by Paul McCartney, of Beatles fame. Unusually for a popular song, the voice and solo gutar are accompanied by a string quartet. In my arrangement I have used a bassoon, then a clarinet, a flute, and a French Horn to play the vocal melody line.
